023. 정관사(The)
1. 이미 정해진 특정한 것, 앞에 나온 것을 다시 말할때, 서로 알고 있는 대상을 표현할 때 사용
- 그 코미디언은 정말 웃긴다 : The comedian is really funny
- 우리 학교는 정류장 근처에 있다 : my school is near the station
- 욕실에 누군가 있었다 : There was someone in the bathroom
- 그 남자는 내 타입이 아니다 : The man is not my type
2. 세상에 하나밖에 없는 것, 악기 이름 앞, 최상급의 형용사, 서수, only, same 등의 앞
- 나는 플루트 연주할 수 있다 : I can play the flute
- 오늘은 하늘이 매우 파랗다 : The sky is very blue today
- 그가 우리 반에서 가장 키가 큰 아이다 : he is the tallest boy in my class
- 오늘이 방학의 첫날이다. : Today is the first day of vacation
- 그 방에 그가 유일한 어린이였다 : he was the only child in the room
※ 예외 : i'm an only child(외아들, 외동딸)
- 나도 동감이다 : i feel the same way
※ 운동경기,계절,식사 앞에는 the를 붙이지 않는다(회화는 예외)
- 오늘은 아침을 건너뛰었다 : I skipped breakfast this morning
